The Parish Council was established in January of 1970 as a direct reflection of the Vatican II Council. The Council consists of elected members as well as representatives of the other Parish Committees. Any Parishioner over the age of 18 is eligible to run for the Parish Council. Terms are for 3 years and annual elections are held in the Spring.

The Divine Savior Parish also has a Finance and Administration Council. This Council deals with issues such as the budget, stewardship, personnel, maintenance, resource utilization and communications and advises the Pastor in these areas.
